IX International Children's Art Festival "Kinotavrik" in Sochi

From 31 October to 8 November in Sochi there will be IX International Children's Art Festival "Kinotavrik" with the assistance of Ministry of Cultural Affairs of Russia; administration of Sochi: Aleksandr Tkachev, the governor of Krasnodar Territory; "Kinomark" company; Iosif Kobzon, the National Artiste of the USSR. The history of International Children's Art Festival "Kinotavrik" began in 2001 when it was International Cinema Festival for children and youth. Nine years ago "Kinotavrik" was opened with the concert of the children's group "Street Magic" in front of the Winter Theatre of Sochi.This year the soloist of the group, a popular TV hostess, Masha Pestunova will be the member of the children's jury of International Film Festival. Masha will have to watch a lot of competitive films and cartoons as well as take part in the cultural programme of "Kinotavrik". Let's wish Masha impartial chair and excellent performances!

"Street Magic" at a holiday concert dedicated to the Day of the Worker of Automobile Service.

On 23 October there was a concert shooting (TV Centre) dedicated to the Day of the Worker of the Automobile Service in the Concert Hall of Moscow Government. Moscow automobilists were congratulated with the holiday by Iosif Kobzon, "Banderes", Tatyana Bulanova, Aleksey Goman and "Street Magic". "Street Magic" performed the song "Doroga k Solntsu" and they prepared a remake of the song "Papa Kupil Avtomobil" especially for this programme, the song was accompanied with the photos of Street Magic in vintage automobiles. We wish all the workers of automobile service and thousands of drivers, who drive their cars every day, unfluctuating health, success in work, happiness and well-being. The songs of "Street Magic'" in a Russian cafe of Tokyo "Freedom"

4 October there was an unusual action under the title "Freedom" in Tokyo! This project was realised by two famous Russian Art and Craft shops, Marinka and Park in Tokyo. There was a large programme orginised for Japanese people with Russian red-beet soup, patties and pancakes. The official music of the day was the songs of the children's group "Street Magic", which were recorded for this action on the special souvenir CDs with the covers in Japanese and the translation of all the songs. Russian Matreshka and Cheburashka became the official symbols of the day.

It was a really nice sunny day! A lot of people had gathered around by the opening of the cafe. Generally they were girls of all ages. Artists, Mass Media representatives, including a reporter of the Japanese department of "The Voice of Russia", were present on the opening of "Russian Day". "Japanese girls like everything as pretty and good-looking as Matreshka and Cheburashka. But when I presented the posters of |"Street Magic" and a photo booklet, specially made in Japan, with a story about the group, they said, - "Oh! What good-looking boys and girls!" They bought everything that we had prepared! I think that it is the first and very successful official appearance of "Street Magic" in Japan! - said one of the organisers of the event, N.Toyoda.

Children Need Our Warmth!

On 20 November in 23 Russian cities which have restaurants MacDonald’s there will be “Mac Happy Day” for the eighth time. On this day famous politicians, actors, TV hosts, sportsmen, the people who are not indifferent to the problems of children, will be the cashiers of MacDonald’s, each visitor will be able to have his or her order with an autograph of a famous person. The money, gathered during November from the sale of exclusive designer mittens by Masha Tsigal, sticker “Ladoshka” and chips, according to the tradition on 20 November will be spent on the development of the project “Family Rooms” in Russian hospitals in order children who have been cured for a long time could be with there parents. For the time being ten “Family Rooms” have been opened in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Nizhniy Novgorod, Saratov, Orenburg, Samara, Voronezh, Rostov – on – Don and in republican children’s clinical hospitals of Tatarstan and Chuvashiya. The symbolic start of the November mercy marathon was set up on 21 October 2009 in the “Family Room” of Voronezh Regional children’s clinical hospital №1 in the oncohematological center.

Young patients of the “Family Room” were visited by such “stars” of stage and sport as Vlad Krutskikh, the first representative from Russia on Eurovision Junior and the soloist of children’s group “Street magic”, and Dmitriy Sautin, the Olympic Champion.

In October 2009 the first single of Vlad Krutskikh under the title “Hello” will be released in the USA. There will be five tracks on the CD. It is a famous song in Russia of Vlad Krutskikh and “Street Magic” – “Allo” in a beat and techno arrangement, an English version written by American poets James Koch and Jason A. Phelps for the original music by Vitaliy Ososhnik and there will also be two club mixes for the English version of the song. “The Day of Republic” North Osetia

In Vladikavkaz there is a preparation in full swing for a celebration of three dates: 235 years after Osetia joined Russia, the 225th birthday of Vladikavkaz and 150 years since the birthday of K. Khetagurov. The orginisers of a forthcoming Republic’s Day are preparing an unusual cultural programme for the citizens. Stars of Russian variety will participate in the opening of a children’s entertaining complex in Vladikavkaz. “Street Magic” will give a concert in Vladikavkaz for the first time. On 17 October “Street Magic” will perform twice: at the Solemn opening of Republic’s Day and at the Children’s Holiday. On 18 October they will give a charity concert in Beslan. The concert will take place in the school №1 of Beslan (North Osetia), where the militants seized hostages on 1 September, 2004. The terrorists kept 1 128 people in the school (children, their parents and the school’s staff). As a result, more than 350 children died (1% of the city’s population). They were hostages, citizens and military men. We hope that we can give a drop of happiness by our songs, leave holiday mood to all citizens of Vladikavkaz and Beslan.

“Street Magic” in Krasnodar Territory and Rostov Region

The representatives of all regions of Byelorussia as well as a lot of regions of Russia will take part in the IV festival “Youth for the Union State”. This forum will take place in a Russian city Rostov – on – Don from 22 to 28 September. Famous performers: Irina Dorofeeva, Gyunesh, Varvara, “Street Magic” will appear on a festival stage together with the competitors as well as the winners of the last years: Vitaliy Gordey, Yana Kurilko, Alexander Elovslikh. The contest will be estimated by the professional jury, the member of which will be Vitaliy Ososhnik, the art director of the children’s group “Street Magic”.

“Street Magic” will take part in the Unique gala-concert “Stars of Eurovision Junior”, which will take place on 24 September at 4.00pm in the State Academic Drama Theatre named after Maxim Gorky. “Street Magic”, A.Golovchenko, sisters Tolmachevy, M.Puntov, V.Krutskikh, K.Sitnik, A.Kunets, A.Zhigalkovich, A.Molosh, D.Nadina, K.Zhukovich will perform on one stage.

On 26 September at 18.00 “Street Magic” will take part in a solo concert of Varvara on a stage of the drama Theatre.

On 27 September at 17.00 there will be a solemn closing of the festival “Youth for the Union state”, where “Street Magic” will perform some of there songs.

On 29 September, after the closing of the festival “Street Magic” will visit Adler with the concert, at 2pm in a CH “Cote d’-Azur”.

Star Youth of the Planet

On 1 September in the Russian-national centre “Orlenok”there will begin the International Festival of Art «Star Youth of the Planet”. Among the participants of the festival there will be children from Russia, the USA, Turkey, India, Peru, Kenya, Angola, Tatarstan, Ingushetia, Kalmykia, Karachai-Cherkessia, Kabardino-Balkaria, Abkhazia and etc.

«Star Youth of the Planet” is the International festival, at the water head of which there was a composer, Georgiy Struve. This idea of the contest occurred to him after his taking part in the world’s choir olympiad-2004 in Germany. Children from 83 countries gathered there, 800 000 participants. All channels of the world broadcast this event. The members of the Art soviet and jury with the competitors are the remarkable figures of art, high-quality specialists in art: Angelina Vovk, Svyatoslav Belza, Andrey Bill, Georgiy Garanyan, Uriy Tygarinov. This year Vitaliy Ososhnik, the composer, art director of the children’s group “Street Magic”, honoured cultural worker of Russian Federation, prize winner of President’s Administration of Russian Federation in the sphere of literature and art has been invited to estimate the category of the contest’s programme “Pop Vocal”.

“National Children’s Hit – Parade”

Dear Friends! We would like to share a happy event in our life with you with keen pleasure. A lot of listeners in our country and abroad have already liked “Children’s radio” – the only FM radio station which broadcasts children’s music. “Street Magic” can be listened to on the waves of this wonderful radio station for half a year already in all the parts of our country, last week we were at the top of the national children’s hit parade! “Street Magic” at the Contest «Lake Pearls" Struga, Macedonia

It is not the first time when the festival-contest “Lake pearls” takes place in the Struga city, the center where Slavic literature appeared. 17 countries will take part in the contest’s programme. This year the girls from “Street Magic” will represent Russia at this interesting International competition. Sveta Derevshikova, Anya Gudym, Olesya Misyuk, Dasha Sinugina and Masha Vanina will take part in the contest of bands and sing two songs from “Street Magic’s” repertoire – “Vybiray” and “Leti leto”. The contest will take place at the main stage from 8 till 16 August. We wish good luck to our girls. We get behind you!

«Street Magic” – guests of the festival “The Art of the Young” in Anapa

On 17August there has been the International festival “The Art of the Young” for the fourth time in Anapa. Hundreds of boys and girls, who are fascinated by the art, will gather on the Black Sea coast to show their art. All children will have an interesting excursion, art programme, master classes of popular people of art. The children’s group “Street Magic” will be the guest of the festival. The boys will specially prepare a remarkably cheerful and foot tapping new song for the concert of the opening of the Festival “The Art of the Young”.

“Slavic Bazaar” - 2009

From 10 to 16 July in Vitebsk there will be the next International Festival “Slavic Bazaar”. It is the fourth time when the organizing committee of the Festival invites “Street Magic” as a guest at this wonderful holiday of art. This year “Street Magic” will take part in the programme of the children’s contest, perform with solo concerts at the stages of the festival, sing a specially prepared duet with Varvara, Masha Pestunova will be one of the masters of the solemn ceremony of the festival’s opening.

“Street Magic” at the Festival of Visual Arts in ‘Orlenok”

From 1 till 9 July 2009 in the All Russian children’s festival center “Orlenok” there will be the 13th All Russian festival of visual arts. The main purpose of the festival is acquaint adults and children with the latest movements in the sphere of visual arts: modern tendencies of film art, new children’s game and animation films, photos, TV programmes. This is the only festival for children where there are practically all the kinds of the visual art! The president of the festival is the People’s Artiste Dmitriy Khatatyan. The vise-president is the art director of the film magazine “Eralash”:Boris Grachevskiy. Participants and quests of the festival will see a concert of “Street Magic” and a programme of the cartoon “Lelik and Barbariki”.

New Section on the Official Site of the children’s group “Street Magic”: “Backing Tracks”.

Since 1 June 2009 on the Official site of the children’s group ‘Street Magic” there will be a new section: “Backing Tracks”. This section will appear thanks to the great amount of the requests of our listeners and colleagues of children’s art. We are very glad that “Street Magic’s” songs are sung in all the parts of our country, former Soviet Union and other foreign countries. We hope that a new section will help lots of people! A Holiday Programme “Saturday Evening” for the day of Defender of Children

On the eve of the International day of Defender of Children there will be a holiday release of the programme “Saturday Evening” on the “Russia channel”. Russian Final of Eurovision Junior

On 31 May there will be a live transmission of The Russian Final of the TV contest ‘Eurovision Junior” on the “Russia channel”. “Street Magic” wish all the finalists 2009 good luck! Charity Concert of Alina Kabaeva’s Fund in the State Concert Hall “Russia”

The Leaving Concert in “Street Magic” School

Dear friends! We invite all of you to our leaving concert to our School on 21 May at 6pm. In the programme there will be piano works of Rubinstein and Shostakovich, new works performed by the school choir; a few a capellas performed by the boys of the concert members of ‘Street Magic”. There will also be a premiere of a new children’s concert group. Seven-year old soloists of the group Ilya Brezgunov and Vlad Sineokov will perform a fancy song “Kapitoshka”.

A Russian children’s group “Street Magic” is a specially invited “Star” at the “Young Oscar Award” in Hollywood on 29 March, 2009. In Globe Theater in Universal Studios (Los Angeles, the USA) there will be the 30th jubilee prize distribution «Young Artist Awards" on 29 March, 2009. “Young Artist Prize”, which is called “Children’s Oscar” in the states, is given for bright children’s works in the sphere of television and cinema of the USA. Over the last years this sphere was broaden to the international level. Since this award in different years there have begun the career and the world recognition of suck artists as Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Elijah Wood (Frodo from the Lord of the Rings), Daniel Radcliffe (Harry Potter), Julia Roberts, Michael Jackson...

“Street Magic” will be a specially invited star of the show, which became the holder of this Hollywood prestige award in 2007 as the best foreign children’s musical project on TV. The soloists of “Street Magic”: Vlad Krutskikh (the first representative of Russia at Eurovision Junior), Masha Pestunova (the TV hostess of the TV programme “Saturday Evening” on the “Russia” channel) and Misha Puntov (the representative of Russia at Eurovision Junior in 2008) will pronounce the winners in the category “The Best Children’s Foreign Film” and perform several songs. Among them there will be some English hits (“Hello” and “Kick the Football”), which became the hits in the USA in 2008, written for “Street Magic” last year by famous lyricists James Cochem and Jason A. Felpson for the music of a famous children’s composer, V.Ososhnik.

Voronezh “Barbariki” are meeting Naomi Campbell at Yudashkin’s show

On 8 March “Barbariki” (“Street Magic” studio) are going to the capital for the regular shooting. Together with Igor Krutoy “Barbariki” will take part in the show of Valentin Yudashkin, which is devoted to the women’s day. As it is known, the showing of dresses interchanges with variety performances. Our children will perform a song about “Music”, which was written by Igor Krutoy for the closing of the contest “New Wave Junior”. “Barbariki” will be on one stage with Alla Pugacheva. Besides, they will see Naomi Campbell, who will take part in the demonstration of Yudashkin’s collection. The money from the show will be transferred to Chulpan Khamatova’s fund, which helps children with cancrology diseases.

Street Magic on Children’s Radio

On 25 Decemder, 2007 Children’s Radio was broadcast for the first time. It was the world’s first system of broadcasting for children. This radio communicates with modern children using modern lanquage and at the same time preserves Russian cultural traditions.

Some songs of Street Magic and Barbariki can be listened to on the air of this radio.

School Concert

On 25 February there will be a concert in the Big Hall of Street Magic’s School.The children of our art school will take part in the programme. We’re inviting those who wish. The Street Magic’s performance with The Symphony Orchestra under conducting of U. Androsov will be a surprise for everybody. There will be the chorus “Legend” named after P.I. Chaykovskiy from the Children’s Album. The concert begins at 6:30 pm.

Hit Parade “Sound Track” of Artur Gasparyan

On 31 January, 2009 there will be the concert and the awarding of the winners of the final hit parade “Sound Track” on the stage of the Big Cinema Hall “Kosmos”.

Hit parade “Sound Track” is the prize in the sphere of popular music. This prize was established by the newspaper “Moskovskiy Komsomolets” (Rubric “Sound Track”).

The winners are appointed only by the voting of this newspaper’s readers, that’s why Hit Parade “Sound Track” is considered to be the most objective and fairest hit parade. The rock and pop stars take part in the hit parade on equal terms. The list of the participants of the “Sound Track” is positioned as the choice of the “Moskovskiy Komsomolets’s” readers.

The first release of the “Sound Track” was in autumn, 1975. The rubric (under party’s control) imformed the audience about the present native performers and politically reliable stars of the foreign stage (from socialist countries, as a rule).

In 1977 the readers got the opportunity for the first time to express their preferences in the writing form. The first “Musical Parade” was based on the survey carried among the audience. Later this parade was renamed into “Sound Track”. The first hit parade included 9 songs of the young singer, Alla Pugacheva. Yaak Yoala, Uriy Antonov, Ivo Linna, Mikhail Boyarskiy, Rosa Rymbaeva, Sofiya Rotaru, “Pesnyary” and “Veselye Rebyata” became the heroes of the popularity list of the end of the 70th –the 80th.

Street Magic will sing in this hit parade on 31 January, 2009 for the frst time. The performers will show the unusual version of the song “Angel Sleeps”.

Governor’s Charity Ball

On 23 January, Governor’s Charity Ball took part in the Drama Theatre named after A.Koltsov; it was orginized by Vladimir Kulakov, the governer of the Voronezh Region under the blessing of the metropolitan Voronezhskiy and Borisoglebskiy Sergiy.

Street Magic took part in the concert programme of the ball.

This year, according to the preliminary facts of the Culture and Tourist Administration of Voronezh Region, in the course of the ball 2,040,000 rubles were collected.

All the money collected in the course of the ball will be divided by Vladimir Kulakov to support the socially unprotected citizens of the Voronezh Region, to help Patriotic War and Afghanistan War veterans.

Christmas Concert of Street Magic in Novosibirsk

The audience of Novosibirsk will watch the programme “Christmas with Street Magic” for the first time. On 15 January at 6pm Street Magic will show their new programme to Novosibirsk’s audience on the stage “Novosibirsk”. “Christmas with Street Magic “in Voronezh

On 8 January, at 6pm “Street Magic” will present their new Christmas programme on the stage of Voronezh Regional Philharmonic Society. There will be the new and never performed songs in Russia (the fragment of Disney’s musical “Snow White and Seven Gnomes”, “Happy New Year!”) as well as the favoutite songs performed by Street Magic. “Barbariki”, “Verba” will take part in the concert and there will also be the debut of the young members of Street Magic.

“Barbariki” in New Year’s Programmes”

The participation in the TV contest “New Wave” led our children to the effective cooperation with the TV channels.On Monday “Barbariki” came back from the recording of the final release of the “Russia” channel’s project “The Song of the Year”, where all participants of “New Wave” will sing the song of Igor Krutoy which they all sang at the final of the children’s contest.The recording of “The Song of the Year “was fantastic, it took part not in the Kremlin but in Olimpiyskiy and lasted till late at night. The children were impressed by such a gathering of stars in one place at once! Iosif Kobzon, Alsu, Valeriya, Philipp Kirkorov, Timathy and a lot of other pop stars took part in the concert.

On 15 December “Barbariki” with the children from “New Wave” will take part in the recording of the 60th birthday of Uriy Nikolaev. On 19 December the anniversary evening will be broadcast on the Channel 1, at 8pm. Watch the final of “The Song of the Year” with Barbariki’s participation on 1 and 2 January on the “Russia” channel.

The Soundtrack to the Feature Film “Footballer”

The work on the feature film “Footballer” was finished. The producer of the film is Mikhail Lushenkov, the cameraman is the undergraduate of VSI of Culture, the continuator of the cinematographic dynasty of Andrey Iosifov. This project was planned to be shown at the Russian and overseas cinematographic festivals. The plot is quiet simple. It is about a young boy who longs to be a footballer, but because of his small height he is not accepted into the team, he shows adult persistency and comes to the trainings of the team day by day, hoping to be accepted to the team one day. The message of the film is the fact that the great victories and achievements begin from the victories over yourself.

The shooting took place in Moscow at the end of the summer. Among the various musical compositions, this day the most appropriate composition from the point of the emotional perception of the film turned to be the composition of Street Magic – Night Madrid (lyrics and music by V. Ososhnik), the fragments of which were taken by Mikhail Lushenkov to make the film.

Contest “New Wave”

“Barbariki” came back to Voronezh from the International TV contest. The singing forum for the young performers took place on 28-29 November, in the capital concert hall “Kosmos”. 45 participants took part in it from Russia, Latvia, Byelorussia, Ukraine, Georgia, Israel, Bulgaria, Germany, Moldova, Kazakhstan, and Tajikistan. The stars and their families came to support the young performers. Dmitriy Malikov with his daughter, Stefanjya, Valeriya with her children, Soso Pavliashvili with his young daughter, Bogdan Titomir, the groups “Prime Minister” and “Ivanushku International” with their children, Valeriy Meladze with two daughters walked along the red carpet strip and then took part in the concert programme.

Voronezh children prepared two songs for the contest: “Yabeda” (the hit) and “Africa” (from the cartoon “Barbariki”). Our group took part in the youngest age group of contestants. Among the members of the jury there was not only Igor Krutoy, but also Max Fadeev, Sergey Lazarev, Timathy, Alsu, the group “t.A.T.u.”, Gluk’oZa. According to the results of the first contest “Barbariki” got 102 points, and according to the results of the second contest they got 108 points (out of 110). As a result, our children took the 4th place (the winner was the Germany’s representative).

“As a pedagogue I can say that all vocalists-participants were strong and performed the serious repertoire. On 20 November, on the world-wide child’s day there was the annual social action “MacHappy Day” at MacDonald’s. Throughout the day the stars of show business being the cashiers offered all visiters to contribute towards helping children by buying fries and designer mittens by Masha Tsigal. All the money from the selling went to Ronald MacDonald’s charity fund. We offer you the photo-report about Vlad Krutskikh and Masha Pestunova’s participation in the action.

During their one- hour shift Vlad and Masha sold more than 20 mittens and about 5 kilos of fries. It means that one more child will be saved.

Misha Puntov at “Euro”

On Saturday night there was the final of “Eurovision Junior” in Limasol (Cyprus). Russia was represented by a 12-year old pupil from the Voronezh Region, Misha Puntov. He sang a romantic song “Angel Sleeps”.

Unfortunately, Misha didn’t win the final. But we can’t call his performance a loss. The boy is the winner anyway because he performed wonderfully, appeared on the stage, wasn’t afraid of thousands of gazes, because he practiced his vocal and set design at the “Russia” channel instead of playing football with other boys, because he saw the sea for the first time in Cyprus, controlled himself and didn’t go swimming at first in order not to catch a cold and lose his voice. TV show “Eurovision Junior” became a perfect start for the beginning of Misha’s creative life. Misha has new songs, concerts and, of course, the most important thing – his own audience ahead of him!

“Eurovision Junior 2008”

The channel “Russia, which will broadcast live the international contest of the children’s song “Eurovision – 2008”, hope that it will evoke the great interest of the audience and looks forward to the success of the Russia’s representative Misha Puntov. The channel will show the live translation of the “Eurovision Junior 2008”, which will take place on 22, November at 10:15 (Moscow time), in Limasol (Cyprus). Russia will be represented by a 12-year- old Misha Puntov from Nizhniy Mamon (Voronezh Region) with the song “Angel Spit” ( The Angel Sleeps), The song was written by Seva Tarasov (“Street Magic”), Vitaliy and Nataliya Ososhnik ( the Administration of the RF President Prize laureates in the sphere of Literature and Art).

Russia took part in the Eurovision Junior for the first time in Khasselt (Belgium) in 2005. The country was represented by a 10-year-old Vladik Krutskikh together with “Street Magic”.

A live broadcast of this contest was watched almost by every fourth resident of Russia (24,3%) according to the Gallup Media’s research. In 2006 Nastya and Masha Tolmachevi (the sisters) from Kursk became the winners of the contest. Misha Puntov will have to compete with boys and girls from 16 countries, who came through national selection rounds. According to the information given in the press service of the channel Dima Bilan, the winner of “Adult Eurovision - 2008”, will perform in Limasol as the honorary guest.

It is obligatory that Eurovision Junior, as well as Adult Eurovision is held in real time and that audience votes for the contestants. According to the rules of the contest the country, which represents its participant can’t vote for him or her. Russia wishes good luck to enchanting Misha Puntov, who won the audience jury of the selection round not only by the lyric song but also by his snow-white smile and fervour. “We believe that a new bright star from Russia will rise in Limasol”, is said in the press release of the channel. All-Russian Forum of Children and Youthful Screen Creation “Bumerang”

“Street Magic” were invited for the second time to the forum “Bumerang”. These three days gave them many positive emotions and a lot of useful knowledge. “Street Magic” became acquainted with the film director, Sergey Miroshnichenko. They watched and discussed his film “Born in the USSR” all together. Street Magic” also watched the masterclass of People’s artist of RF, Avangard Leontev and of Honoured artist of RF, Larisa Verbitskaya. The “Street Magic’s” song “Bumerang leti” became the official anthem of the forum.

Premiere of the new programme:

On 10, September there was the premiere of the new “Street Magic’s” concert programme in “Orlenok”.The concer passed with the great success! Hundreds of children from the whole country danced and sang with “Street Magic”. The sea, the sun and “Street Magic’s’ songs became the real present for children of All-Russian centre “Orlenok”.

In a concert Dima Bilan, and also participants of "Evrovidenija-2008" brilliant Ani Lorak from Ukraine, the Armenian singer Sirusho, group "Sea pirates" of Latvia, a command from Turkey "Mor ве Otesi" will act the winner of the international competition of 2008. On 10 May young presenter of the “Saturday Evening”, Masha Pestunova, is 13. On her birthday Masha got plenty of congratulations and presents, but the most amazing and pleasant present was given to Masha by her co-presenter, Nikolay Baskov. Nikolay gave Masha a small Yorkshire terrier. Nikolay chose the puppy himself. Masha called the puppy Busya (the full name- Businka), because the dog is very small and pretty. “Street Magic” in Khabarovsk Territory

Masha and Vlad in “Novogodniy Ogonek”

On 10 – 12 December there will be the recording of “Novogodniy Ogonek” on the “Russia” channel. Masha Pestunova with her brilliant partner Nikolay Baskov will perform in the role of the presenters of “Ogonek”, and Vlad Krutskikh, the Tolmachevi sisters and many other stars of Russian variety will sing a lively New Year song.

Seva Tarasov is the presenter of the new children’s TV show

From 26 November till 3 December there was the recording of the new entertaining programme for children, Seva Tarasov became one of its presenters. The programme is getting ready to be broadcast. We will soon watch its pilot release. Watch the advertisement in the press and on our site.

“Street Magic’s” new album

On 12 January, 2008 “Street Magic” will finish working on their new album under the title “Letyat listochki”. There will be 7 songs in English, 1 song in Japanese and 4 new songs in Russian. We hope that the audience will like the album. At the end of January there will be a demo version of the album on the official site.

“Eurovision Junior 2007”

On 8 December, 2007 there will be a regular children’s TV contest “Eurovision”.

>“Street Magic” wish the competitor from Russia good luck and they being the members of the children’s jury will gather in the studio of the “Russia” channel to support Aleksandra Golovchenko.

International Action “Don’t Even Try”!

“Don’t even try” is an international action struggling against drugs and Aids, which has started in Russia, in 2002. The author of the idea and the producer of the action is the Ambassador of Good Will of the Children’s fund of UN Oleg Gazmanov. The motto of the action is “Save at least one life!” The participants of the action are Oleg Gazmanov, the groups “Chelsi”, “UmaTurman”, Lera Masskva, CCKH, Bosson and “Street Magic”. The nearest concerts will take place on 1 November in Lipetsk (Ice Palace “Zvezdniy”) and on 9 November in Voronezh (Ice Palace “Ubileyniy”). All the money collected from the selling of the tickets will be given to the boarding schools, Aids and drug addiction centres. Come to the concerts! Try to save at least one life!

“Verba” at the festival “Youth for the Union State”

Festival “Youth for the Union State” came to the end on 4 September in Rostov - na-Donu. During the week young talents from Russia and Byelorussia pleased the audience with their performances. The grand opening of the festival and Gala concert of artists and groups from Russia and Byelorussia (the participants of the festival “Youth for the Union State”) took place on 29 September in Rostov Music Theatre. The special guests of the Gala concert were Sergey Lazarev, Aleksey Goman, Ruslan Alehno and others. The official representatives of Russia and Byelorussia took part in the programme of the opening of the festival. The young performers contest took place on 1 and 2 October in Rostov Drama Theatre named after Gorkiy, where “Verba” got the prize “Slavonic Style” and the title of the prize-winner.We are very glad because it was the first performance of the girls in a grown-up contest, where the performers from 16 till 30 years old competed with each other. The festival remained in the memory by its friendly atmosphere and unique aura, which was created by the chief director Alexandr Berexin.

Seva Tarasov at the Programme “Big Letters”

In September there were the shootings of the regular series of the programme “Big Letters” on the First Children’s Channel “TeleNyanya”. The soloist of “Street Magic” Seva Tarasov acted in one of the programmes with the premiere of his song “Choose!”. In the near future listen to this song on the site in the section “Music”.

Masha Pestunova is a new presenter of “Saturday Evening” on the “Russia” channel

There is a change of the scenery and the staff of presenters in the studio of the Saturday show. In October Nikolay Baskov and “Novie Russkie Babki” will have a new co-presenter, a 12-year- old Magic Street girl, Masha Pestunova. Don’t miss the broadcasts, which will take place every Saturday. Don’t forget to switch on the “Russia” channel and watch a colourful concert with Russian stars and with the lovely MC Masha. “Barbariki”: a new musical project with “Street Magic’s” participation

Great news! This news is not for ufologists, but for all children’s animated cartoon lovers and children’s song lovers. A new children’s animated cartoon “Lelik and Barbariki” is going to be released. The heroes of this cartoon are funny little men from the planet Barbarella, who fly to the Earth to teach children good and friendship. On 2 September at Novaya Ploshad in Moscow, just opposite the shop “Chilren’s World”, will be the premiere of children’s music group “Lelik and Barbariki”, here the audience will get acquainted with the songs from the cartoon, which were written by the famous composer Lubasha.

We are introducing the children to you, who take part in this great project:

Oleg Gazaryan (Lelik) - a little tot, who can fly and knows a lot of real stories. Lelik is the professor in the School of Friendship on Barbarella. The friendship for him is a light, which is quite imprtant to be shared with the others.

Ruslan Nadein (Buba) - a dishevelled barbarchik, a real romantic in character!

Nikita Hripushin (Baz) - a short-haired boy, who can’t keep still. The most important thing for him is not to miss adventures and to find himself in the thick of the events.

Dasha Sinugina (Bonya) – a girl with a red bow and dark hair. She has good housekeeping skills and makes raspberry compote best of all.

Sonya Tkacheva (Bibi) – a girl with two funny bunches, she read a lot of books.

“Street Magic” in “Orlenok”

The Forum of children’s screen art “Bumerang”, which will gather 2000 young TV reporters, cinematographers and animetors from all over the country, will take place from 16 till 23 September. The guests of the Forum will be Elena Kamburova, “Street Magic”, Dima Kaldun and Juliya Mihalchik. “Street Magic” will open the Forum with the song “Bumerang”, which was made ready specially for this event, and the flag of Russia will be brought out at the “Zvezdnaya Ploshad” to the song “Nahodka-Moskva”. “Street Magic” will perform at the closing of the cinema and TV programmes contest, at the game “Fabrika Zvezd” in “Orlenok” and will give a solo concert on 22 September, in Central concert hall. One of the most interesting events of the Forum with “Street Magic’s” participation will be the Presentation of the First Children’s Channel “TeleNyanya” on 17 September. Disco for Children

On 1 September “Monolit” Company releases a new MP3 album of children’s songs under the title “Children’s Disco”. The songs of “Street Magic”, Krosha, Karina M and other children’s groups were included in the album.

“Street Magic” in “Artek”

Oksana Voytovich, Dasha Gorskaya and Juliya Vogina will represent our country at the International children’s festival “Change the World for the Better”, which will take place in “Artek” from 19 July till 5 August, 2007.

The International children’s festival “Change the World for the Better” is given on Ukraine’s initiative. The idea of its holding answers to the decisions of the 31st Special Session of the UN General Assembly by child’s rights. In its final document the governments of 189 countries of the world declared their willingness to change the world for the better in the interests of children and with their participation.

The fiths festival brought together young messengers from 21 countries of the world. In their address to the heads of the countries children noted an important role of the International children’s festival “Change the World for the Better” in the development of children’s diplomacy, protection of children and also asked adults to lead active actions against terrible phenomena such as drug addiction, AIDS and violence, which exist in our society.

One of the major events will be the Day of the Peace on 28 July. There will be a solemn subscription of the Address of the participants of the festival, which will be worked out by the children during the shift, to the heads of the states and to the UN General Assembly. The summing up of the work will take place at the press conference (4 pm, Palace “Suuk-Su”).

“Street Magic” girls will perform at the opening and the closing of the festival, at the Russian Day, the Russian Disco, the contest and at the Holiday of a Song.

The 39th Universal Chemistry Olympiad

On 23 July there was the closing of the 39th Universal Chemistry Olympiad in the central MSU concert hall.

The Universal Chemistry Olympiad is the most prestigious junior world chemistry championship, which has almost a 40-year-old history. The main aim of the Olympiad is to increase the interest of the pupils in natural sciences and to find talented scientists. The Olympiad brought together young scientists from 68 countries of the world.

Dmitriy Medvedev, the first vice-prime minister, came to congratulate the winners of the Olympiad. The children’s group “Street Magic”, the People’s Artist of Russia Lubov Kazarnovskaya , and the scholars of the fond named after V.Spivakov “New names” took part in the concert.

100% Children’s Hit

The “Super Music” company releases a new album of “Street Magic” under the title “100% Children’s Hit -4”. There will be songs released earlier as well as the new tracks. Enjoy your listening.

“Street Magic” at “Slavyanskiy Bazar”

Watch the performance of “Street Magic” devoted to the opening of the Slavyanskiy Bazar on 7 July on the “Russia” channel. The children will sing the song “Balaganchik”. The circus “Unost” and the dance group “Zorka” from Byelorussia will perform together with “Street Magic”. The Channels 1 of Byelorussia and Ukraine will broadcast the combined performance of Valeriy Leontev and “Street Magic” with the song “Ball”.

On 14 July at 16:30 Byelorussia time and 15 July at 14:30 Byelorussia time it will be possible to watch the recording of “Street Magic’s” performance at the children’s competition “Vitebsk-2007” on the LAD channel. The audience will watch and listen to the songs “Vasilkovaya strana” and “Ivan Kupala”.

On 12 July at 18:30 Byelorussia time watch a live transmission from Vitebsk of the benefit performance of Edita Pyeha with “Street Magic’s” participation. “Street Magic” will sing the song “Manzherok” specially for the prima donna of the USSR variety.

“Street Magic” in the programme “Unrehearsed”

Watch a regular game “Unrehearsed” on 27 July, on the TVC channel. This time the guest of the programme will be Masha Pestunova, who will sing for everybody the song which is called “A song about Daddy”.Don’t miss it.

Two Voronezh representatives in the semi-final of “Eurovision Junior 2007”, Russia.

On 28 May, 2007 there was a semi-final of Eurovision Junior in Russia on the “Russia” channel, Moscow. Qualified jury of Russian stars, teachers of music academies and directors of TV projects has chosen 20 best children’s songs. Among them were two songs which were performed by Voronezh children: Masha Pestunova, she will be the 16th and the group “Verba”, the girls got the last number-the 20th as a result of casting of lots.

On 3 May at 21:25 on the “Russia” channel in a live transmisson the audience will have the chance to choose a song, which will represent our country at “Eurovision Junior” in Rotterdam, Holland, in December, 2007. Masha Pestunova and “Verba” rely on the support of all their countrymen and hope that the audience will like their songs.

For now the teachers of “Street Magic” Elena Tkacheva and Elena Shatskaya; the famous professional singer Masha Kats and the teledirector Svetlana Kaufman are working with the finalists from Voronezh. They will help Masha Pestunova and “Verba” get prepared for the final show.

“Street Magic” at “Slavyanskiy Bazar-2007”

“Street Magic” will spend the beginning of July by tradition at Slavyanskiy Bazar in Vitebsk.

This year we will please our fans with two solo concerts, the performance at the anniversary of Edita Stanislavnovna Pyeha, the performance at the opening and the closing of the competition programme and with the performance at the Russian Day. Our permanent authors Vitaliy and Nataliya Ososhnik wrote a song under the title “Vasilkovaya Strana” specially for the festival. The premiere of this song will take place at the opening of the festival.

The Anniversary of the TVC Channel

On 9 June, 2007 there will be a concert shooting of the anniversary of the TVC channel in the state concert hall “Russia”.

The final of “Eurovision Junior” in Russia

There will be a concert and a live transmission of the final of “Eurovision Junior” in Russia. “Street Magic” wish all the competitors good luck. And, of course, we will support our friends.

“Street Magic” and “Fidgets” (Neposedi) against “Factory of Stars”(Fabrika Zvezd)

On 3 June there will be a concert shooting of the TV Channel 1 project called “Big Letters” in the State Concert Hall “Russia” ( Palace of Sport “Luzhniki”). But the participant teams won’t be usual.

The “stars” of children’s and adult’s varieties will meet in the game. Among them will be “Street Magic”, “Fidgets” (Neposedi), “Chelsi”, “Tutsi”, Natalyya Podolskaya, Irakliy. The beginning of the programme is at 1pm.

“Street Magic” in Montenegro

There was a performance of Oksana Voytovich at the International Competition of the Song “Male Skale”, which took place on 12 May 2007, in Igalo (Montenegro). The representatives of 9 countries and 20 new children’s songs gathered at the popular TV show of the Balkan Peninsula for the audience to judge. The song “Ravens”(Voroni), which was performed by the Russian represantative Oksana, got the first prize. Oksana, the author of the song Ivan Orehov, a graduate of “Street Magic”, the arranger Igor Shatskiy and the sound producer Igor Knyazev are congratulated on the deserved victory.

“Street Magic” in Germany

There was a series of performances of the children’s group “Street Magic” on 1,2,3 May in Hanover (Germany). The “Street Magic’s” headliners Pasha Cherkasov, Lina Lisih and Andrey Raspopov were well criticised by the press. The children not only pleased the German audience with their songs but also visited Hyde Park, Witch Carnaval at Walpurgis-night and met the burgomaster of Hanover.

The children’s group “Street Magic” came back from Los Angeles to Russia on 13 March, 2007

The awarding of the prices “Young Artist Awards” took place on 10 March in Los Angels (the USA). “Street Magic” were greeted with a big round of applause, and their performance was well criticised by the probucers and press. In a short time “Paramount Pictures” will make ready an American version of a site about “Street Magic” and will start to prepare a documentary film about young artists from Russia for American television. The producer of “Paramount Pictures” Simon Barron begins to prepare a concert tour of “Street Magic” in the USA and Korea, which will take place in the next season.

Besides taking part in official events “Street Magic” had time to rest and enjoy the delights of the American cities, they visited the shooting areas of “The Universal Company”, stared at the real King Kong and Frankenstein. Santa Monica met the children with good weather and the soft Pacific Ocean, and the Hollywood avenue met the children with the shine of “stars”, among which there was a star devoted to the great Russian singer Fedor Shalapin.

The programmes “Unrehearsed” and “Big Letters”

“Street Magic” took part in the recording of the TV programmes “Unrehearsed” (TVC) and “Big Letters”(The first International Channel) on 20, 21 March. There were recorded the songs such as “About Daddy” performed by Masha Pestunova, “The Way to the Sun”, “Ivan Kupala” and “Venus”. The dates of broadcast will be reported later.

The RenTV channel began to shoot the programme about variety children, which will be on the air in a short time. “Street Magic”, Karina M and Misha Grebenshikov will take part in the programme. Don’t miss the broadcast.

Russian performers to get "Children's Oscar"

On March, 10 2007 Los Angeles, USA will host the 28th Annual Young Artist Awards Ceremony.

Young Artist Award, which is regarded as "Children's Oscar" in the US, is given to young people for brilliant performance in films and on TV. Recently the award has become international. In the past such great performers as Scarlett Johansson, Natalie Portman, Elijah Wood (played Frodo in Lord of the Rings), Daniel Redcliff (played Harry Potter), Julia Roberts, Michael Jackson and others were recognized with this award.

This year the award is being given for the 28th time. The fact that "Street Magic" has been given a "Special Award for Outstanding Young International Variety Group" caused a sensation.

In her press-conference Maureen Dragone, President and Founder of the Award said she was delighted when she heard and saw the "Street Magic" performance. "The young musicians' ability as well as creative art management are admired here in Los Angeles!"

It is not the first time that "Street Magic" have surprised their fans by winning prestigious competitions all over the world, taking part in the biggest European TV shows ("Morning Star" on ORT, Junior Eurovision in Belgium, World Championships of Performing Arts in Hollywood). This time, however, even the band members themselves are confused! This award came as a complete surprise.

Apart from "Street Magic" a young Russian actor Dmitry Martynov, who played the son of Anton Gorodezky in the recent blockbuster "Night Watch", has been nominated for "Best Performance in an International Feature Film". In 2004 15-year-old Vasya Lykshin was awarded for the leading part in the film "Shantytown Blues" (European title 'Angel on the Curb'). We wish Dima every success and are happy to congratulate "Street Magic".

Russia's Magic New Year Tree

"The All-Russian Cultural and Humanitarian Links Association" along with the "Leader Group Public Organisation" would like to invite you to take part in the charity project "Russia's Magic New Year Tree - 2007" in which "Street Magic" also participate. The project is supported by the Committee of Culture and the Public Relations Committee of the Government of Moscow.

The aim of this project is to organize a New Year celebration for 500 orphan children as well as an exhibition of children's drawings and paintings "My Christmas Dream". The gala concert will be held in Moscow "Opera" club on January, 5 at 7.30 p.m.

New "Street Magic" CDs

The band has prepared a few New Year and Christmas presents for their friends. Several new CDs: "100 % kids' hits - 3" and a special 2-CDs collector's edition "New Year Snowflakes" and "Pigeon-toed Rain" are available. And on the Old New Year Day (January, 13) we'd be happy to see our fans at the concert dedicated to the release of Vlad's new album "Silent Stars" in Russia. The concert takes place in Mobile Plaza, Moscow (Bagrationivskaya underground station).

Sixth Nile International Song Festival

On January, 23 2007 Vlad Krutskikh will represent our country at the Sixth Nile International Song Festival in Egypt. Russia is taking part in this prestigious TV contest (which is held under the auspices of the First Lady of Egypt) for the second time. Last year Russia was represented by Roman Grechushnikov who was the International Festival "Slavyansky Bazar - 2004" Grand Prize awardee. We will know the results as soon as the Russian delegation comes back on February, 7. Unlike other countries participants Russia is not broadcasting this contest. So this spectacular show can be seen only on satellite channels.

On November, 25 the band took part in the MTV show "MTV fight club" All MTV fans were delighted to see MTV DJs along with "Street Magic". Watch the interview and the band's performance in the news reports on MTV-Russia.

Magic Christmas

On January, 6 at 6 p.m. in the "Youth Palace", Voronezh there is a premiere of a new "Street Magic" show. New songs will be performed written by producer Eugene Orlov, composers Kim Breitburg, Vitaly Ososhnik, Alexei Demin. The audience are going to meet a new little star - Oleg Gazaryan as well as the popular members of the band. Tickets are available.

"Play football, everyone" RuPor Nominee

The song "Play football, everyone" has become a real symbol of the Russian street football competition organised annually by "Rossijskaya Gazeta". Experts believe this joint project of "Street Magic" and "RG" to be the most successful PR project of the year and it has been nominated for the Central Black Belt of Russia Regional PR Award "RuPoR". At the beginning of 2007 the results of the All-Russian National PR Award "Silver Archer" are to be announced. Let's hope that the National Committee will take our joint project into consideration when the decision is made.

Vlad Krutskikh's New Album Presentation

On November, 24 legendary Mobile Plaza will host a presentation concert of Vlad Krutskikh's new album "Silent Stars" which is released by the "Monolith" company - the biggest audio manufacturer in Russia. We hope that this CD will be available in any shop in our country and make Vlad's and the band's fans happy. New Photos in the Photo section! A short report from Hungary where our girls took part in the contest "Vespremsky Games" and a few new posters.

Vespremsky Games 2006

On October, 10 our girls came back from Hungary where they represented Russia at the international song contest Vespremsky Games. The "Ravens" song was performed at the contest.

The international panel of judges all gave the girls the highest points, whereas the Russian judge criticized the performance although Russia was the only country to show the local colour in its songs. Nevertheless, the girls managed to get the first prize.

New "Street Magic" CDs

We are proud to announce that the recording company "Nikitin" is releasing two new "Street Magic" CDs. They are to be released on December, 1 2006.

"Street Magic" in Kaluga

From 2 to 5 November the band is taking part in the Russian campaign "We are together" which takes place in Kaluga. The girls will show the award-winnig programme from the contest "Vespremsky Games" (Hungary).

"Street Magic" on Channel 1 (ORT)

The boys from the band took part in the TV recording of the anniversary celebration of the film "The Elusive Revengers" on Channel 1. They performed a song from the film called "Stuntmen". Watch the programme on Sunday (29.10.2006) at 4 p.m.

Contest

A new "Street Magic" CD is due in October but its title has not been chosen yet. So we are having a competition. Think of a new and original name for the CD, e-mail your ideas to us before October, 1.

The winner is getting the band's new CD with their autographs.

Vespremsky Games 2006

From 5 to 10 October Oksana Voytovich and "Street Magic" take part in the international song contest Vespremsky Games (Hungary). The "Ravens" song will be performed at the contest. The band has recorded the anthem of the contest in Russian for the opening ceremony. It will be performed at the concerts in Budapest on October, 5 and 10.

"Autoradio - Lipetsk" birthday

On September, 24 the great radio station "Autoradio - Lipetsk" celebrated its 2nd birthday. Despite being quite young the radio station has a vast number of fans who got together in "Victory Park" to see the programme prepared by the birthday people.

The audience were happy to welcome "Street Magic" and Alyona Vysotskaya (soundtrack performer from the TV series "Don't be born beautiful")

Magic Summer 2006

The summer of 2006 was very productive for the band. The highlights were taking part in "Slavyansky Bazar" as guests of honour and Vladik Krutskikh as a contestant from Russia, participating in the International Festival "Youth for the Commonwealth" in Anapa, TV shootings, release of two new albums with the new songs. All this helped vary the daily concert routine although "Street Magic" gave more than 40 concerts in Belorussia and Russia. The kids were warmly welcomed in Voronezh, Moscow, Pavlovsk, Anapa, Orel, Lipetsk, Belgorod, Vitebsk.

Oksana Voitovich became an awardee of the All-Russia contest of children's creativity "Anthill - 2006". We'd like you to have a look at her performance at this competition in the "videos" section. That is an amateur recording but we believe that Oksana's fans will be interested.

"Slavyansky Bazaar" in Vitebsk

On July, 9 "Street Magic" leave for Vitebsk. The band are taking part in the opening ceremony of the children's contest, in the contest itself, as well as in the "Day of Russia" concert. They are also planning to give their own concert.

"Street Magic" and "Hi-Fi"

On July, 1 "Street Magic" and "Hi-Fi" give a performance in Pavlovsk. We are extremely happy that at last we'll be able to perform together with this great band whose songs we enjoy so much. We are really looking forward to seeing all Pavlosk people at the Central Stadium at 6 p.m.

The specially recorded for Eurovision-Junior qualifying round demo-video of the song "Play Football, everyone!" is now on the official "Street Magic" site. That is not a live recording but we hope that some fans will enjoy it.

The CD includes 20 wonderful tracks performed by the children's band from Voronezh "Street Magic". The young performers represented Russia in 2005 at the Eurovision-Junior 2005 contest.

"Day of Protection of Children" with "Street Magic"

On May, 29 in the State Concert Hall "Russia" there is a concert shooting called "Grown-ups and Children". This is an annual project in which Russian pop stars take part. They do not perform their own songs, instead they sing the most popular children's songs. "Hi-Fi", Dima Malikov and many other stars are going to participate. The song "Road to the Sun" will be performed by Vlad Krutskikh and "Street Magic". We hope to see you at the concert and we are sure you'll enjoy the show on June, 1 on the TV Channel "Russia".

Russian Final of Eurovision-Junior 2006

On June, 4 the State Concert Hall "Russia" will host a concert and a live broadcast of the Russian Final of Eurovision Junior 2006. The audience will be offered to choose one of 20 songs which will represent Russia at the competition in Romania. "Street Magic" are going to perform the song "Spring Called!" as special guests. Be sure to watch the TV Channel "Russia".

The youngest "Magicians"

"Little Magicians" have just come back from the contest "Anthill". The audience in Penza welcomed the band warmly and heartfully although the competitive performance was not understood by the jury. During the final discussion the Chairman of the Jury Mikhail Slavkin expressed his opinion that the children did not understand what they were doing on the stage, dances were not related to the ideas of the songs, and the repertoire ("Mysterious Island", "Song about Elephant", Jewish folk song "Mame" and "Paganini") was not agreeable to the standards of children's songs. Moreover, we were advised to perform his own songs or songs by the classical children's songwriters - V. Shainski, E. Krylatov.

As a result, "Little Magicians" received the third prize but we consider this to be quite good especially taking into account the fact that they were the youngest in their age group (they are 8 - 10 years old whereas the contestants in the group were 10 - 14 years old). By the way, last year our girls (Oksana, Nastya, Yulya, Vika, Alina) got the first prize in this contest (the Chairman of the Jury was not Mikhail Slavkin). The Jewish act provoked even bigger indignation - especially its theatricals. M. Slavkin said that the children sang in an "unintelligible" language (the song is in Yiddish), the use of umbrellas in the dancing part was not justified, all that looked like cabaret and not like children's performance. Unfortunately, we don't have a video from Penza yet but we've decided to put our version of the song "Mame" online. This is a lively and award-winning performance from the TV show "Morning Star" (1996 - 2000). Nowadays the song and the show look just the same.

On May, 16 2006 we were officially informed by the Ministry of Culture of Russia and the Union of Children's Organizations that "Street Magic" had won the National Selection for the "Slavyansky Bazaar - 2006" contest in Vitebsk. Vlad Krutskikh and " Street Magic" will represent Russia at this biggest European professional contest in July 2006. Hoorah!

"Eurovision - 2006"

On May, 28 there is a concert shooting of the final Russian selection for the "Eurovision - 2006" contest in The State Concert Hall "Russia", and on June, 4 - a voting live on RTR channel that will determine a new representative of Russia at the competition in Romania. "Street Magic" will be making a special guest appearance and will sing the song " Spring called! ". The band are now busy preparing a show for this song, which will be in the best traditions of Moiseev`s choreography. The costumes for this performance have been developed by a fashion designer Lyuda Sabina, she has already made them for the song "Ivan Kupala"; the style of the performance has been created by Alexander Makhinov - costume designer for the song " Silent Stars", for Michail Grebenshchikov, for the groups "The Roots " and " The Factory".

Vladimir Spivakov and the "Street Magic"

Vladimir Spivakov and the "Virtuosos of Moscow" will carry out an unprecedented International action in Moscow called "Children against Terror". "Street Magic" have been invited to participate in the opening. On May, 15 in The State Concert Hall "Russia" in Moscow a concert will take place where "Street Magic" are going to sing the song "Spring called!" for the first time.

Vlad Krutskih and Oksana Voitovich have returned from the "Open Europe" competition

On April, 6 Vlad and Oksana have returned to Voronezh from the International competition "Open Europe" which took place in Moscow. The solemn opening of the competition was in Concert Hall "Izmailovski`s" where Alexiy The Second`s, the Ministry`s of Culture of Russian Federation, Joseph Kobzon`s greetings were read. The celebratory concert ended with a song "Shall be friends" - an official hymn of the competition which was specially recorded by Vlad Krutskih for the presentation of "Open Europe " in the Baden.

Oksana Voitovich for the first time took part in the competitive program - and successed! Oksana became the owner of the Diploma of the third degree in the nomination "Vocal - solo". It is very pleasant that the jury of the competition chose her from more than 100 applicants for awards. In competitive program Oksana sang two songs: "Mame" - the Jewish national song, striking the public with magnificent hebrew (an ancient Jewish language) and "Ravens", written by Ivan Orehov in a traditional Russian manner. A song "Shall be friends" is available in section "music".

"Ant hill - 2006"

From May, 10 till May, 14, 2006 in Penza the Russian Festival of Children's creativity the Ant hill - 2006 will take place. The band "Street Magic" will take part in the competitive program of the festival. This time the younger ensemble will take part in the competition led by Sergey Korolev - well-known by the song "Mysterious Island", that he has recently written.

Denis has left for Tambov!

In the children's band "Street Magic" girls are sobbing! Under family circumstances Denis Uzkov has moved with parents to Tambov. In spite of the fact that teachers of the studio and Denis will be separated, Den is not going to stop singing. He will take part in large concerts of "Street Magic", and on May, 27 will participate in rock-festival "SCURF" (www.shurf.ru)

Premiere of the Hymn of Russian Championship of domestic football, recorded by "Street Magic"

On March, 1 the Russian Championship of domestic football has started on prizes of "The Russian newspaper " and the newspaper "Sport - express". Denis Uzkov, Vlad Krutskih and Alexandra Ponomareva recorded a song "All to the football! ", that became an official hymn of this championship. A song is available in section "music".

Christmas with "Street Magic", 2006

On January 8, 2006 the traditional concert of "Street Magic" named "Christmas with Street Magic" took place. The palace of Creativity of Children and Youth hospitably opened the doors to more than 1000 spectators coming to enjoy the new program of the band. New songs were presented by Vlad Krutskih. The song "To love the wind" with participation of true Fakirs made an indelible impression upon the public.

New Year holidays in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation

On December 23 - 24, 2006 "Street Magic" participated in the New Year's performance "Masha and Tusya in the Land Dreams Coming True" in the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation. The main character of this fantastic show became Maria Pestunova. She played the role of girl Masha who together with her dog Tusya traveled and met the animals of Eastern Zodiac.
